"Aquatic Health has helped me in rehabilitation of my right shoulder. I have undergone three shoulder surgeries and have been coming to Aquatic Health for about three months and feel that I have started to improve. The people here are very caring and only want the best for all their patients. I would recommend them to anyone that needs therapy. T. B."

"We walked into Aquatic Health and Rehab scared and frightened of the future. Our son had been in an accident and suffered a brain injury, a parent's worse nightmare. Our fears we quickly put to rest. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. They understand not only physical therapy needed but help with social skills and concentration also. When it was time to graduate form PT, they made sure we had the tools to continue our work at home. We are extremely grateful for their help. S. P. (mom)"

"Having had multiple surgeries (2x Back, 6x bypass, angioplasty, and 3x heart attacks), I have had the need to attend many PT facilities. Aquatic Health is by far the best facility and has an outstanding staff. They are very knowledgeable and compassionate. The staff always greets you with a smile and asks how you are doing, and they actually mean "how are you today"! I hope any future therapy can be done here. Thank you all. "I am so very grateful to Terry and her staff for the recovering therapy and kindness shown over the last 7-8 months. I was scheduled to have epidural, and a week before this was to happen, the pain from sciatic subsided and surgery was postponed. Thanks to one and all! With the discomfort and pain gone, I can get on with my life. Gratefully, D. P."

"I awoke in the early a.m. with left shoulder pain extreme pain in and under my left shoulder blade, pain in my left arm, wrist, and the last two finger of my left hand. Numbness also was a problem. Chest pain was also present. After three steroid infections, I started therapy at Aquatic Health and Rehab. I went through thirty-three sessions and showed a considerable amount of success. I returned to work August 10, 2008 for a month. September 8, 2008, I had neck surgery. I had four Fusions', ten screws and two rods inserted. After incision healed, I started therapy again on December 30, 2008. I have been in therapy since then and I feel that because of all the therapist and assistants, I have had a lot of progress, plus being able to do more. Everyone including the front desk administrative assistant has been extremely helpful to my recovery. I highly recommend this Rehab facility to anyone who needs to attend a therapeutic establishment. I want to thank everyone for this assistance as I continue my therapy, on the road to recovery. C. B."

"The Aquatic Health and Rehabilitation Center works wonders on those who suffer with impaired health and are willing to work with the programs they offer. This center is staffed by a team of well qualified therapists whose unrelenting efforts will surely give you back your good physical body. I had limited bending, painful flexibility, and occasional stiffness. My doctor referred me to the Aquatic Health and Rehabilitation Center with all assurance; she was right! I was assigned to various staff therapists who carefully guided me through exercise workouts in the pool and on land. Sessions included aerobics, Pilate's, treadmill workouts and some "very-feel-good" massages. With the time, diligence and professional care displayed by the Aquatic staff, I recommend the Aquatic Health and Rehab Center to those in need of returning to good health. P. M."

"Our entire family is amazed at the progress that our 15 year old son with autism has made while receiving speech, physical and wellness therapies at Aquatic Health and Rehab. Not only is the quality of services superior, he is genuinely cared about. Language and communication skills, such as initiating and sustaining conversations have greatly improved under the care of the dedicated therapist. Transitioning from being inwardly focused to a child who has become more outgoing has been the answer to many prayers. This is significant in as much as there is no known cure for autism. Coordination and balance has improved as well due to the holistic and professionally coordinated strategies of the therapists. Many thanks and blessing to Ms. Ro Olson, Ms. Terry and Rob. Dr. N. D."

"I am a 76 year old woman. I have RA and NPH. I have had a shunt in my brain since 2004. In Feb. 2009 I fell and had a hematoma on the left backside of my brain. I was kept in a coma for 4 days and 12 days in the hospital; the doctors wanted me to go to a facility for Rehab. Instead, I went home with my daughter's help. I now go to Aquatic Health and Rehab three times a week for therapy. In the beginning I couldn't hardly walk or move. I was always afraid of losing my balance. With the wonderful help from great therapist at Aquatic H+R, I am now moving and walking with a walker. My balance has much improved. K. M."

"I came to Rehab with lower back pain around level 5-6. I have been coming 3 times a week for about 5 weeks. I can't say enough about the therapists. They were extremely kind and genuinely interested in my well being. I never felt anxious or unsure about their competence and professionalism as well as sense of humor. I have seen great progress in my treatment and the last few weeks have had very little, if any, back pain. I am so very glad that my physician, Dr. Joe Glasner, sent me here. I feel great and I have the tools now to help me control my back pain and I'm so grateful to the staff her at Aquatic Health and Rehab, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend others to receive this wonderful care. R.H."

"In the beginning of Feb. 2009, I was diagnosed with three herniated discs in my lower back. My attending physician, beginning on Feb. 24th referred me to Aquatic health and Rehab. The office staff and therapists were extremely professional and caring. They answered all of the questions I had and helped me through the difficult time I had with my pain. As of this date, March 25, 2009 I am pain free and have regained range of motion. I owe this to the determination of the staff at Aquatic Health and Rehab. Thank you to all whom got me through this difficult time. I highly recommend Aquatic Health and Rehab to those in need of professional, caring treatment. R. S."

"My success story began when I started therapy at Aquatic Health and Rehab. Out of all the years and places that I had therapy, Aquatic has the cleanest, helpful, and caring people I ever met. Now, my left knee needs to be replaced and my right is getting much better. I am becoming stronger, bending more; my pain is becoming less painful. I look forward to coming for therapy. They give me hope. J. G."

"I can't begin to express my thanks adequately to Terry Shepherd and her staff of therapists at Aquatic Health and Rehab! After over seven years of increasing pain due to osteoarthritis in my knees, shoulders, and hips, I have finally found a therapy program and therapists which have made a real positive difference in my mobility and pain reduction. I had "hot water" therapy in New England, but was surprised and happy to see that Terry and the other therapists were actually in the pool with you and was cheerful and encouraging. Individual therapy was the main "plus" over other rehab programs I have been in. When my shoulder pain and loss of mobility became the only ailment that seemed to need further examination, my physician ordered an MRI and then referred me to an orthopedist. After additional X-Rays, more therapy was ordered, including iontophroresis with acid treatment. This program is hoped to prevent surgery. The increased mobile and lessened pain is phenomenal! Elbow tendonitis treatment is also helping and therapy has never helped me before as much as this program at this facility has done. I frequently recommend Aquatic Health and Rehab to friends (and even strangers!). P. W."

"I went to two different Physical Rehab and Aquatic Health and Rehab is the best by far. They care so much about their patient; it made me want to come to therapy. Aquatic Health and Rehab is also a clean and pleasant place and the staff has a great sense of humor. I would recommend Aquatic Health and Rehab to anyone. M. R."

"Wow! When I was just told I had to go to PT (again) I dreaded it as I had been at least 30 time sin my last 30 years, nothing ever changed. I worked hard to no avail. Then I came here to Aquatic Health, what a difference true professionals with real answers and honest help. I went from hardly being able to walk to feeling like I could almost run. The people here Terry, Linda, Lisa, Jessica, Rob, etc. are caring and go overboard when it comes to trying to see you get well-they truly care. If I ever need rehab again, I will come right back here. J. R."

"I have had 3 left hip replacements, stenosis for L2 to L5, a torn right knee which leaves me tremendous balance and legs weakness problems. I have been with you (Aquatic Health and Rehab) for less than 2 months and I have progressed rapidly. I had trouble taking few steps and walking sideways-now I can. I couldn't walk backwards without losing my balance-now I can. I had trouble getting out of a chair without losing my balance-now I can. I had trouble balancing between parallel bars-now I can. I could not stand in one place without losing my balance after a few seconds-now I can stand for over a minute. I planned on going to your center for many years expecting a very slow rehabilitation. These may be minor advances but to me it's great progress. Thanks very much for what we have accomplished so far. S.B."

"Two years ago I had to have a knee replacement Dr. Helmy introduced me to Terry Shepherd at this time. And so the story begins. Terry and her staff first go me prepared by strengthening my legs for surgery. After a brief stay in Rehab, Terry and her staff once again assisted me post operation, not only to strengthening me legs, but also my core in order for me to totally rehabilitate. Now it's time for my second knee replacement. Once again Terry and her staff are in the process of getting my strength back, and my range of motion to its fullest bend. I can only say from these 2 experiences, that Aquatic Health and Rehab has made my recoveries such a success! P. L."

"I had a total left hip replacement for the 3rd time. I was in a brace (waist to thigh on left side) the brace injured my peripheral muscle and sciatic nerve. I started with Terry at Aquatic Health and Rehab and move to Lourdes. Lourdes worked her fingers and hands to the bone working on me. She would go home and look things up to help me because nothing seemed to work. She found a stretch called a nerve glide. She did it twice and it did the trick. I threw away my cane! The whole staff is very professional. P. W."

"When I first came to here, I was in a wheelchair and walker recovering from an upper femur and hip replacement. The treatment received started with time in the pool gaining balance and confidence. I was moved inside to work on muscle stretching and strengthening. The exercises and PT's helped encourage me to grow stronger. I believed they really cared for me and desired for me to heal. I have progressed with their care to walking with a cane only and now to periods without a cane. Aquatic Health and Rehab has excellent support, direction, and care. I will recommend this staff and facility to anyone requiring PT. The staff really cares. T.L. C."

"My family doctor recommended that I start therapy and suggested Aquatic Health and Rehab. 4 weeks ago I started under the direction of Lisa. I was scheduled for 2 days a week and they worked with me on my work schedule. Lisa and the other therapist worked with me under the direction of Lisa. The staff was very good. They were concerned with my walk and they really card. I was set up with exercised that were easy for me to do at home. I always got a good workout on my scheduled visits. As a result in 4 weeks I am without pain in my legs can walk longer and have more energy. I have been with this pain for many years. I have been to specialist, with no results. Aquatic took care of the problem in 4 weeks. Thank you!!        W. W."

"When I first started at the Aquatic Health and Rehab my lower back hurt as well as my hips. I had no knowledge as to what activities I could or should do to improve my problem. With the help of my physical therapist, Cathy Scarborough who is knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging, I went through exercises to improve my problem. I no longer experience any pain in my lower back and hips unless I do something foolish like picking up something too heavy. Prior to therapy I had been using support to get out of the car, off the couch, and off the floor, etc. I have no limitations now. I am thankful for all that was done for me at aquatic Health and Rehab. The whole staff is very competent. I have observed all of them working with their patients and you can see they are all committed to their work. All the therapists that may be in the pool greet you with a smile and a hello. They make you feel welcome. I know it's all up to me now. I will continue working on upper and lower body strength. Also must work on flexibility and balance. I will continue walking 2 miles 3-4 time per week. E. R."

"I first entered the pool at Aquatic Health and Rehab for aqua therapy, referred from MD Anderson Cancer Center out of a wheelchair into a walker. My body bent over and very weak, but I was hopeful with the warm water and professional therapists. I had a hopeful future too recovery. I was their daily! At first the pain of movement in my muscles in between treatments was surprising, but I kept on consistently with intent and help from my therapists and within two weeks I noticed a change. I became stringer from every treatment I had. I started to add a massage once a week. I was stronger in the second month and changed from the walker to a cane. My muscle started to wake up after months of atrophy. Gently they were helping them developed and balance in the water treatments. After much hard work and time I was walking again. I really didn't think there was that much patience in the world, but this group of skilled professionals created a miracle and gave me back my life. I am forever in debt to this terrific group of caring professionals. They helped me in every way! Love and health to them. C. N."
